Melba Jean Hedgcoth Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Melba Jean Hedgcoth (Ironton, Missouri). Melba, born on February 12, 1942, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward James and Pearl Asher (Callahan); her son Keath Irvin Hedgcoth; her husband Rev. Clyde Hedgcoth, Sr.; and her siblings, Dairyl Asher, Jim Asher, Clint Asher, Shirley Pini, Donna Sue Brooks, Barb Bays, Debbie Painter and Geneva Hedrick.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nicole (Jesse), Jason (Lynndy), Justin, Adam, Matthew (Jennifer), Craig (Haylie), Johnathan (Ashley), Tyler, Clay, Coy, Bailey and Kaylinn; her great grandchildren, Carson, Crew, Kale, Anessa, Ruger, Gunner, Laythe, Kynlee, Kyson, Kobe and Kaleyiah; and her siblings, John Asher (Sue), Rebecca Mowery, Betty Vance (Grover) and Mary Key (Rick). She is also survived by loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cole Family Funeral Home (210 E Reynolds St, Ironton, MO 63650). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
