We announce the death of Shirley McIntyre of Ironton, Missouri, born in Washington, Missouri, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Gillam and Dora Gillam (Tedder); her stepmother Lucy Gillam (King); her husband Howard McIntyre; her half-brothers, Edwin Isgriggs, Harold Isgriggs and Kermit Gillam; her stepsiblings, James "Jim" Goodson and Evaughn Hood; her son-in-law Eugene Causey; and her birth mother Dora.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Causey; and her grandchildren, Linda Delashmit, Ida Clinton, Roselea Michael, David Causey and Wade Causey. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Desloge Chapel (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the St. Francois Memorial Park (6776 Vo-Tec Rd, Bonne Terre, MO 63628).
