He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Chappell and Edna Kestner Willard; and his half-siblings, Freeland Chappell and Ruth Sifford. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bryant Moore; his sons, Allen Chappell (Joy) of Bloomfield, Nick Moore (Lisa) of Dexter, Brad Moore (Leigh Ann) of Advance and Greg Moore of Jackson, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Ariel Lee (Ryan) of Dexter, Brandon Chappell (Carrie) of Dexter, Brooklyn Chappell of Benton, Miranda Harmon of Dexter, Tyler Moore (Hannah) of Dexter, Leighton Moore (Ashley) of Advance, Rowan Moore of Poplar Bluff, Alicia Sandage (Jason) of Bloomfield and Clinton Gross of Mississippi. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
