It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Boyd Summers of Jackson, Missouri, born in Millersville, Missouri, who passed away on December 25, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Summer and Bertha Summer Sr. (Sander); and his siblings, Virginia Felty (Quinton), Bertha Haupt (Wib), Winifred Dumey (Ralph) and Lloyd Summers (Wilma) of Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn S. "Sue" Franke (Jim) of Hillsboro and David Boyd Summers (Patricia) of Cape Girardeau; and his sister Elvira Urhahn (Gib). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces, and nephews.
If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests the Jackson Senior Center or New McKendree United Methodist Church.
