It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved David O. Dennis of Jackson, Missouri, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 72, on May 18, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Hargiss and Vivian Ivalene Watson Dennis. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Dennis; and his children, Stan W. Gunter, Terry W. Cook Jr., Jeff Kennett Sr., Melissa Mason, Lisa Renee Cook and Tammy Rios. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

“David was also dearly loved by his brother Dan Dennis (Joan), his niece Patricia, nephew Daniel L. and his great nieces, Kimberly, Ashley and McKayla. While he didn't get to see this side of the family often enough, calls were made constantly. Also grieving are his sister, Donna Jean, Errin and Michaela and his children Dawn Marie, Christina and David Jr. He was also preceded in death by his younger brother, Gary Wayne Dennis. David will sorely be missed.”
