She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Cope and Helen Thurmond Cope; her husband Gerald Edwin Moss; her son Boyd Dewayne Simpkins; her brothers, Thurman Glynn "Peck" Cope and Daniel Jesse Cope, Jr.; and her grandson Christopher Parks.
She is survived by: her daughter Gerri Reamer (Steve Ragland) of Chesterfield, MO; her daughter-in-law Terry Simpkins of Uniontown, MO; her children, Gerald Edwin Moss, Jr. (Cathy) of Lafayette, LA and Ruth Ann Moss of Milton, FL; and her sister Betty Jo Roth of Manchester, MO. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made in Doris's memory to the Fruitland Church of Christ.
