He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Rush and Ida Thornton Rush; his siblings, Elwood Rush, Olin Rush and Mary Warren; and his granddaughter Megan Emaline Pridemore.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; and his children, Teresa Brown (Doug) of Jackson, Tim Rush (Sharon) of Jackson and Jeff Rush (Holly) of Jackson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Russell Heights Cemetery (435 S Farmington Rd, Jackson, MO 63755).
