James Crites Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Crites (Jackson, Missouri), born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Crites and Sylvia "Bea" Moore Crites; his daughter Sarah Hartle-Hamm; Les and Vi Hartle.

He is survived by: his significant other Rick Hartle of Jackson; his daughter Emily Hartle-Tripp of Jackson; his grandchildren, Caleb Hartle, Shawn Hamm and Ronnie Rachelle Hamm; his sister Deanna Whittaker (Mark) of Zalma; his children, Kyler, Andrew, Adrian, Shelley Piekert (late James) of Des Arc, Tyla, Shawna and Levi; and his foster mother Carol Smith of Cape Girardeau. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and relatives.
