He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Hecht and Dorothy Ruehling Hecht; and his son Jeremiah "JJ" Hecht. He is survived by: his wife LaRhonda Hecht of Jackson; his children, Jason Hecht of Jackson and Jordan Lane (Andrew) of St. Louis; his siblings, Rick Hecht of Jackson and Catherine Wright (Delwayne) of Jackson; and his grandchildren, Jerimiah James Hecht II, Knox, Mac and Noa Lane.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery - New Wells (304 Co Rd 516, New Wells, MO 63732).
The family suggests that contributions be made to American Diabetes Association.
