Joy Susan McIntyre Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Joy Susan McIntyre of Jackson, Missouri. Joy, born on July 27, 1939, passed away on September 26, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joy Susan McIntyre to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Crites and Dessie Garland Crites; her husband Orville L. McIntyre, Sr.; and her siblings, Caroll Crites, Larry Crites, Harold Crites, Leona Douglas and Norma Mungle.

She is survived by: her sister Clara Mills (Ray); her niece Terri McGuire (Rick); and her stepsons, Orville "Butch" McIntyre (Pam) and Norman McIntyre (Linda). She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Salem Cemetery in Daisy, Missouri.
