With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda E. Sides of Jackson, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda E. Sides to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard McCain and Louise Meyer McCain. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Sides of Jackson; her children, Lisa Harvey (Steve) of St. Louis, Amy Barnett (Bobby) of Pinckneyville, Illinois and Chris Sides of Jackson; and her grandchildren, Joby Crabtree, Brock, Brandon Eaker, Brittani Sights, Colton Shoulders and Grant Sides. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery - Near Pocahontas (6137 Co Rd 525, Jackson, MO 63755).
