It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Kaye Kranawetter of Jackson, Missouri, born in East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry B. Russell and Lois Farrenburg Russell; her stepgrandson Sam; and her brother Dickey Russell. She is survived by : her husband Ervin Kranawetter of Jackson; her children, Russell Helms (Tami) of Jackson and Leslie Payne (Bill) of Choctaw, Oklahoma; her stepsons, Richard E. "Red" Kranawetter (Vera) of Patton and Douglas Kranawetter (Nikki) of Patton; her siblings, Janie Maxwell (Jerry) of East Prairie and Harry B. Russell (Diane) of East Prairie; and also, Roy Kranawetter of Jackson and Robert Kranawetter (Karen) of Jackson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Russell Heights Cemetery (435 S Farmington Rd, Jackson, MO 63755).
