She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Gilbert and Margaret Gilbert (Schlue); her daughter Racquel Lynn Metzger; and her siblings, Homer Gilbert, Jr., Judy Gilbert and Jan Ramey.
She is survived by: her son Ty Metzger (Tracy); and her siblings, Sarah Froemsdorf and John Gilbert. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one future great-great-grandchild.
