He is survived by: his significant other James E. "Jim" Crites; his daughter Emily Hartle of Jackson; his grandchildren, Caleb Hartle, Shawn Hamm and Ronnie Rachelle Hamm; his cousins, Sara Lee McCullough (Jerry), Carol Ann Schweigert (Bob), Doris Jean Blattel (late Jim), Janet Sue Bollinger (late Carl), Brenda Kay Yamnitz, Joyce Elaine Clippard (Terry), Bud Proffer (Kenny Lawrence) and Beverly Ann Petitt (Rick); his close friend Tim Kimbel; his sons, Blake Kimbel (Clarissa) and Brandon Kimbel (Jennifer); his sister Deanna Whittaker; his nieces and nephews, Kyler, Andrew and Adrian; and his cousin Mike Houston (Tracee).
