He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold August Macke and Lillian Albertine Niemann Macke. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Borgfield (Dave), Karen McClard, Patti Duesing (Dean), Donna Craft (Doug) and Vickie Ruch (Dennie); and his siblings, Lilly Newell, Paul and Sam Macke. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great‑grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Paul Lutheran Church or St. Paul Lutheran School.
