It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet L. Lafferty of Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas William "Dewey" and Ethel Mae Blagg Grisham; her husband John; her children, Barbara Jean Green and John Weldon Lafferty Jr.; her brother Edward Grisham (Opal); and her nephew Thomas Grisham.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Heather Schnurbusch (Paul) of Altenburg, Trashea Renfro (Jeff) of Lawrenceburg and Michael Lafferty of Fayetteville, Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Meagan Pulliam, Madison, Schoolfield, McKenzi Dobble, Ella Caroline Lafferty, Amber Thompson, Heather Blanford, Cooper Weldon Lafferty, Luke Renfro and Matt Schnurbusch; her brother Wayne Grisham (Carole) of Naylor, Missouri; and her son-in-law Carl Green of Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and dear friends.
