Carla Ruch Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carla Ruch of Jameson, Missouri, who passed away on April 9, 2026 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Thede and Irene Thede (Hillman); her husband Larry Ruch; her son Lennon Ruch; and her siblings, Craig VanZee and Cindy VanZee.

She is survived by: her daughter Kelli Cleaveland (Jeff) of Stewartsville, MO; her grandchildren, Karlee Mclain (Adam) of Stewartsville, MO, Joe Cleaveland (Hannah) of Chillicothe, MO, Lacey Jessa (Mike) of Chillicothe, MO, Taylar Huffman of Bethany, MO and Jon Ruch (Robyn) of Jameson, MO; her sister Carol Haney (John) of Marshalltown, MO; and her sister-in-law Deb Mead (Dan) of Marshalltown, MO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
