It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilda Schoenthal of Jamestown, Missouri, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley Jacob Strein and Anna Adeline Strein (Poehlmann); her husband Ralph Truman Schoenthal; and her brother Walter Strein. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Dennis Strein (Deana) of Jamestown, Douglas Strein of Jamestown, Cindy Borts (Steve McCabe) of California, Gwen Oney (Jack) of St. Peters, MO and Mary Robinette (Carlos) of Jefferson City; and her godchildren, Trudi Fahrenbrink and Carol Gilpin. She is also survived by many family members and friends.
