He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernell H. Runge and Annabelle Rybolt Runge; his sisters, Pat Hotham (Bob) and Betty Portwood (Harry); and his brother-in-law Sonny Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Runge of Winfield; his children, Chad Runge of Oklahoma City, OK, Lucas Runge (Anne) of Wisconsin, Meghan Runge (Jon Harris) of Elsberry, MO, Sam Runge (Jenny Kay) of Wisconsin and Eli Runge (Kristin) of Troy, MO; and his siblings, Joan Stoecklin (Duke) of St. Louis, MO, Aprile Taylor of Elsberry, Judy Grammemann of Kansas City, MO, Cheryl Broyles (Timmy) of Troy and Dale Parsons (Marsha) of Winfield, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369).
