We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Mary R. Cox of Japan, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. McGowan and Ruth G. McGowan (Renick); her husband William Cox; and her siblings, Loretta Elsperman (Eugene) and James R. McGowan.
She is survived by: her son Dale Cox (Darlene) of Las Cruces; her siblings, Victoria Jenkins (Butch) of Strain, MO, Charles McGowan (Mary Jo) of Japan, MO and Ted McGowan of Japan, MO; and her sister-in-law Betty McGowan of Bourbon, MO. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Home (347 N Clark St, Sullivan, MO 63080). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials to American Cancer society, American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association are appreciated.
