He is survived by: his mother Martha Hughes (Sidney Hughes Jr.); his wife Janet Cagle (Glennan); his sister Lisa Ann Gabbard; his aunts, Sue Johnson, Irene Phillips and Nadine Smith-Reeves; and his children, Nathan Cagle, Alan Cagle, Blake Cagle, Steven Cagle, Julie Greer, Jamie Cagle, Emily Cagle and Corey Cagle. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren.
