With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bob Asahl of Jefferson City, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harris "Bill" and Ruth Asahl (Gerhart); his sister Mary Caroline Asahl; his parents-in-law, Arthur "Babe" and Ruth Yontz; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Jobe, Bob Martin and Mike Schaffter; his nephew Boyd Yontz; and his nieces, Sarah Northway and Tammy Korte.
He is survived by: his wife Kate; his children, Dan Asahl (Amy) of Des Moines, Melissa Calvaruso (Gaspare) of Jefferson City and Nicole Underwood (Billy) of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Ben (Madeleine Schrick), Bailey, Will Asahl, Vito (Bailey Henson), Vinnie, Nic Calvaruso, Victoria (Brayden Garrett), Billy III and Alexandria Underwood; his siblings, John Asahl (Dora), Ruth Ann Jobe and Mary Martin; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Yontz (Dala), Carolyn Oetting (Jim), Suzanne Seek (Mike), Cindy Schaffter and Amy Northway (Tom). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and members of his extended family.
