It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Leon Medley of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carl Leon Medley to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest "Funny" Carl and Roberta Leah Medley (Miller); and his siblings, Alta, Gordon, Lendell, Joe and Lloyd Gale.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Powell of Jefferson City; his son Carl (Susanne) of Las Vegas, NV; his siblings, Mary Dyer of Eminence, MO, Romona Ryno of Licking, MO and Robert (Vicky Hurt Medley) of Mountain View, MO; and his sister-in-law Gaylon Knight Medley of Cato, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews he loved.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Primrose Retirement Community (1214 Freedom Blvd, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A reception was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Monetary donations in memory of Carl are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
