He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Steiner and Cecilia G. Steiner (Jacquin); his stepson Randy Nolte; his brothers, Harold and James Steiner; and his sister-in-law Nina Steiner.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Tina Nolte of Morrison, Missouri; his grandsons, Ryan Nolte (Elizabeth) of Holts Summit, Missouri, C. J. Nolte (Kristy) of Chamois, Missouri and Hunter Nolte (Kayla) of Chamois, Missouri; his brothers, Leo Steiner of Warrenton, Missouri, Cecil Steiner (Rosemarie) of Hermann, Missouri, Fred Steiner (Betty) of Killeen, Texas and John Steiner (Kim) of Gasconade, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Steiner of Warrenton, Missouri, Mary Ann Steiner of Hermann, Missouri and Jeanette Birk (Brad) of Morrison, Missouri.. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Assumption Church or St. Peter Catholic Church.
