She was predeceased by: her parents, Bette Pappas and Theodore A. Pappas; and her brother Theodore "Stacy" Pappas. She is survived by: her wife Catherine R. Edwards; and her sisters, Cynthia Pappas and Candace Simmons. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
