It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Thompson of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Kempker; her husband Bob Thompson; her daughter Ivy Kempker (Russellville); her great grandchildren, Alex Paul and Taylor Lee Patten; and her siblings, Daniel Kempker, Darlene Welschmeyer and Dawn Ramos.

She is survived by: her mother Rose Kempker (Veit) of Westphalia; her grandchildren, Ceaira Thompson of Kansas City, MO, Shyanne Kempker-Miller of Loose Creek, Aidan McMullin of Jefferson City and Brady McMullin of Bland; her stepdaughter Holly Thompson of Jefferson City; and her siblings, Diane Morgan (Raymond) of Folk, David Kempker of Folk, Dwayne Kempker (Tanya) of Folk, Doris West of Freeburg, Donna Kesel of Folk and Delores "Lynn" Kempker of Folk.
