As Donald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Donald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Donald leaves behind.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Link and Lois Link; his spouse Shirley Carlos Link; his children, Elizabeth (Beth) of Holts Summit and Scott Link of Columbia, Missouri.; and his pets, Kelce and Nigerian Dwarf.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer that donations be made to First Methodist Church, Jefferson City in Donalds name.
