As Doris departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Doris leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto S. Atkisson and Thelma L. Edwards Atkisson; and her siblings, Dorothy Marshall, June Ramsey, Norma Woodson and Charles O. Atkisson.
She is survived by: her children, David A Holdeman of Chicago, Illinois. and Teri E. Formney of Phoenix, Arizona; and her sister Carol J. Rudroff of Jefferson City, Missouri. She is also survived by three grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
