With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Ray DeFreece of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Chillicothe, Missouri, who passed away on May 8, 2022 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother JoAnn DeFreece-Gonder; his son Zachari C. DeFreece; his stepfather Glen Gonder; and his stepbrothers, Glen Gonder Jr., George Gonder and Gary Gonder.

He is survived by: his father Richard DeFreece (Sandy); his wife Ginger DeFreece; his daughter Jessica DeFreece; his stepmother Sharon Gonder; his sisters, Diane DeFreece-Knox (Clint) and Nikki Emery (Bob); and his stepsiblings, Jeff Claypool, Gil Gonder (Andrea), Gailen Rosenberg (Russ), Geoffrey Gonder (Sondra), Gregory Gonder (Krissy) and Patricia King.
