He is survived by: his wife Doris Naes; his children, Mark Bacon of Meadowbrook, Greg Bacon (Sherri) of Prairie Home, Paula Barczewski (Robert) of De Soto and Melvin Appleton Jr. (Amy) of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Emily Bacon, Brooke Bacon, Chris Bacon (Melissa), Michael Bacon and Michael Barczewski; and his great grandchildren, Kehlani, Nya, Alex, Trenton, Nevaeh and Nolan.
