It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel D. McAllister (Jefferson City, Missouri), who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace McAllister and Katherine McAllister (O'Conner); and her siblings, Edith Gill, Bernard McAllister and Robert McAllister.
She is survived by: her sister Ginger Hunter (John); and her sibling's children, Jennifer Hunter of Jefferson City, MO, Lee Ann Lundquist (Jack) of Las Vegas, NV, Janet Williams of Grapevine, TX, Denis McAllister of Burnet, TX, George Hunter (Pam) of Naperville, IL, Jay Hunter of Naples, FL and Phillip Smith (Sara) of Blythewood, SC.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Heisinger Bluffs Chapel (1002 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A reception will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to Heisinger Bluffs Care Center which will directly fund enrichment activities supporting the social, emotional and spiritual well-being of residents in Hazel's honor.
