He is survived by: his wife Karel Lyster Lowery; his sons, Evan (Elizabeth) and Wesleyan University of Illinois; his grandsons, Bennett Robert Lowery and Marshall Nicholas Lowery of Geneva, Illinois; his daughter Emily (Michael Lynch); his nephews, Robert Lowery and William Lowery of Missouri; his cousin Bonnie Conwell (Brim) of Blue Springs, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Maryalice Lyster of Waterford and Elizabeth Lyster Marshall.
