He was predeceased by : his parents, Elbert David and Viola Leona Ferguson (Giesing); his wife Teresa Marie Kliethermes; his son Matthew Ferguson; and his sisters, Patricia Ellis and Rose Jaegers.

He is survived by : his sister Verda Rogers (Joe Keilholz) of Jefferson City; his granddaughter Delaney R. Ferguson; and his great-nephew Legion. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces.
