With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Briggs of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Charleston, Missouri, who passed away on July 29, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eunice Briggs and Dorothy Briggs (Jacobs); and his sisters, Bertha Kelly, Maxcine Hawthorne and Earline Hudson.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Briggs of Jefferson City; his children, Laryssa Creswell (Alvin) of Upper Marlboro and Lerone Briggs (Aimee) of Jefferson City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Isaiah Briggs, Xavier Briggs, Akil Creswell, Lanee Briggs and Laila Simone Creswell; his great grandchild Ava Jewell Briggs; and his siblings, Daniel Briggs, Sherdell "Dell" Briggs (Debbie) of Iowa City and Shirley Dilworth (Robert). He is also survived by his children, and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
