He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Earl and Alberta Elizabeth Kopfer (Cullor); his sister Louise Clark (Bob); his nephew Dusty Clark; and his grandson Daniel Hobbs.
He is survived by: his wife Darleen Kopfer; his children, Susan Kopfer of Merida, Yucatan, Shirley Jones (Jeff) of Florissant, Beth Hobbs (Jim) of Jefferson City, Anita Kopfer of Jefferson City and Sara Proctor (Bob) of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Malinda, Andrea of Alejandra, J. D., Brandon, Eric and Zachary; and his great grandchildren, Sophie, Sarah, Cassandra, Richard, Catalina, Nickolas, Kayelyn, Natalia, Averie and Rory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fairgrounds Road Church of Christ (1316 Fairgrounds Rd, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at the Riverview Cemetery (2600 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109).
