It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Mathews of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Mathews and Byrnece Mathews (Straight); and his brothers, Gary Mathews and Ron Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Sue Bueker; his children, Drs, Jack of Manhattan, Nic of Manhattan, Ben of Manhattan, Sam White of Manhattan and Daniel Mathews (Brooke); his grandchildren, Gabby Locke (Alex) of Springfield and Grace Mathews of Springfield; his brother Keith Mathews (Patty) of St. Joseph; and his sisters-in-law, Terry Mathews of Liberty and Marge Mathews of Goodyear.
