He was predeceased by: his parents, James Copeland and Mayme Copeland (McDaniel); and his brother Eugene Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Rose Copeland; his children, Brad Copeland, Cherie Copeland and Elisa Oetting; his grandchildren, Eric Copeland, Taylor Fellers (Aiden), Jenny Oetting and Sonya Oetting; and his great grandchildren, Damien Napier, Ian Oetting and Everleigh Oetting.
