With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha A. Johnson of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Floresville, Texas, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joe Kalisek and Ann Kalisek (Chunda); her husband Ray Walter Johnson; her stepdaughter Maria Johnson; her brother Gus Kalisek; her nephew Sonny Kotara; and her brother-in-law Fred Kotara, Sr..

She is survived by : her daughter Joann Cawthorn (Brian) of Jefferson City, Missouri; her sister Teresa Katara of San Antino, Texas; her grandchildren, Will Jennings and Chris Johnson; her nephews, Fred, Jr. and Flavian; and her niece Denise (Gary). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Longview Cemetery (204 Scott Station Rd, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Martha Johnson Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 95, Jefferson City, Mo. 65102.
