It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Salmon of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Raithel and Lora Bess Raithel (Burnett); her husband Charlie; and her son-in-law Barry Chitwood. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Chitwood of Jefferson City, Stephen "Steve" Salmon of Jefferson City and Sandra Coakley (Bob) of Alamo; her grandchildren, Katharine, Lora, Elizabeth and Brandon; her great grandchildren, Alissa, Alexis, Aaron, Matai and Mikah; her great great grandchild Lydia; and her cousins, Phillip, Marilyn and Linda.
