He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. Moad and Cyrilla M. Moad (Hoelscher); his wife Deborah Moad; and his daughter Debbra Conner. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Orey (Jerad); his grandchildren, Wrenn Orey of Ashland, Missouri, Cambell Orey of Ashland, Missouri, Caleb Conner of Ashland, Missouri and Lila Conner of Ashland, Missouri; his son-in-law Michael Conner of Ashland; and his brother Nelson Moad of Holts Summit. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Freeman Chapel (915 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101). The military honors was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Salvation Army, 927 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
