It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Lee Starr of Jefferson City, Missouri, born in Keokuk, Iowa, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Starr and Izola Starr (Bryant); his sister Velva Fish; and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Henry and Janet Shivers.
He is survived by : his wife Evelyn LaVonne Starr; his sons, Randall Lee Starr (Vanessa) and Gregory Warren Starr (Leonard Shockey); his grandchildren, Jenson Paul Starr and Josie Lea Starr; his stepgrandchildren, Sage Bentlage, Zane Bentlage and Ash Gautam; his brother Mick Starr; his brothers-in-law, Stanley Lewis (Betty), Duane Lewis, Herschel Lewis (Jeannine) and Darrell Henry; and his nieces and nephews, Michelle Pierson (Michael), Kathy Sandoli (Chris), Stacey Ricci (Matt), Kristen Lewis (Jimmy Thurston), Darrell Henry Jr. (Jennifer), Rhonda Hensley (Troy), Allen Henry, Brent Starr and Breanna Starr.
