It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Watson (Jefferson City, Missouri), who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil C. Wilmsmeyer and Johanna M. Wilmsmeyer (Stratmann); her husband Jerry Wayne Watson; her siblings, Melvin Wilmsmeyer, Richard Wilmsmeyer (Helen), Ralph Wilmsmeyer (Sharon), Mildred Wilmsmeyer and Rosalie Schupp (Gilbert); and her brother-in-law Duane Watson (Mary).

She is survived by: her children, Janet Baker (Russell) of Holts Summit and Michael Watson (Kate) of Ashland; her grandchildren, Derek Baker (Heidi) and Amanda Baker (Q'Juan); her great grandchildren, Cora Ames, Mya Curtis and Hayden Baker; her siblings, Hugo Wilmsmeyer (Donna) of Columbia and Helen Oser (Darrell) of New Franklin; and her sister-in-law Janet Wilmsmeyer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and members of her extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Central Church, 118 West Ashley Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101, or a charity of the donor's choice.
