She was predeceased by: her parents, John McKinzie and Sharon McKinzie (Allen); and her siblings, Larry Robert Nixon, George McKinzie and Lavona Cave.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Davis Jr. and Mya Davis; and her siblings, James Nixon (Tina), Shawn McKinzie, Frankie McKinzie, Sue McKinzie and Helen McKinzie.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors (2613 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made toward the education of Shawna's children, Michael and Mya Davis.
