It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Theresa Moritz of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Anton Kern and Therese Kern (Wilhelm); her husband Jack Moritz; her grandson Joshua Moritz; her son-in-law Daryl Glascock; and her siblings, Anton Kern, Johann Kern, Hildegard Pongratz and Josef Kern.

She is survived by : her children, Anita Glascock of Jefferson City, MO and James "Jim" Moritz (Cathy) of Prospect Heights, IL; her sister Maria Kern of Germany; her grandchildren, Angela Bulawski (Roman), Bianca Ingwersen (Ryan), Melanie Highland (Charles), Lindsay Gorton (Daniel), Libbey Moritz and Zoe Moritz; and her great grandchildren, Marcus, Simon Bulawski, Andrew, Cecily Highland, Benjamin, David, Matthew Gorton, Charlotte, Riley Moritz, Linnea and Lincoln Ingwersen. She is also survived by her family and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Emily Catholic Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
