He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Richard DeHaven and Anne Mattingly; his brother Jerry DeHaven; his son-in-law Ryan Hatfield; and his grandson Caleb.
He is survived by: his wife Coleen; his children, Joanne Hatfield of Tonganoxie and Kelly Arnold (Michael) of Springfield; his stepchildren, Brian Schwartze (Autumn) of Ames, Courtney Jeremey (T. J.) of Vienna and Tyler Schwartze (Michelle) of Holts Summit; his sisters, April Long and Priscilla Jones; and his grandchildren, Georgia, June of Aubri, J. B., Carlee, Paxten, Walker, Emerson, Dalaney, Colton and Maybrey.
