He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harris and Lillie Mae Harris; his brother Charles "Bobbie" Harris; and his nephews, Clyrone Lee and Vincent Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Harris and Tarese Harris of St. Louis, MO; his close friend Garnet Banks of St. Louis, MO; his siblings, Georgia Harris-Orr of Chicago, IL, Robert Harris of Los Angeles, CA, Albert Harris of Mansfield, TX, Anthony Harris of St. Louis, MO and Curtis Harris (Cynthia) of St. Louis, MO; his aunt Olivia Williams; and his uncle Peter Johnson of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by two grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
