He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Overkamp and Helen Overkamp (Korman); and his brothers, Anthony "Andy" and Harlan Overkamp. He is survived by : his wife Mary B. Overkamp (Henderson); his stepson James Dale Mincher of New Florence, Missouri; his grandson Jake Mincher; his brother Jim Overkamp of Effingham, Illinois; and his grandchild Sundrop. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be given to St. Martin's Church or St. Martin's Cemetery.
