She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Captain Grigorii Veretnov and Dr. Nina Veretnova; her husband Andrew Barry; her daughters, Dr. Elena G. Olson of Madison and Jaynya Lioubinsky of Austin, Texas; her sister Dr. Elena G. Kazieva of Arkhangelsk, Russia; and her granddaughters, Jayden and Alexandra.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Taylor Performing Arts Center (2104 S Indiana Ave, Joplin, MO 64804).
