She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Walter and Jean Elizabeth Pickering; and her siblings, Dana "Dede" Hobbs, Carole Ann Stout and Steven Bruce Pickering (Noel).
She is survived by: her children, Tony Kirkup (Marcie) of Springfield and Terri Kowis (Joe) of Joplin; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Tyler of Galena, Kansas.. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
