He was predeceased by: his parents, Quannah Elkins and Rutholene Elkins (Brattin); and his brothers, Don Elkins and Loy Elkins. He is survived by: his wife Christa (Steinbach); his daughters, Christine Myers (Kenneth) and Patricia Fenenbock (Matt Jaeger); his grandchildren, Brandon Myers, Dallas Myers and Brandi Fundin; and his great grandchildren, Rylie, Jack, Hunter, Charlotte and Lincoln.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mason-Woodard Chapel (3701 E 7th St, Joplin, MO 64801). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Children's Haven in care of the mortuary.
